Here’s a silly piece of art for you. I think it was for my boyfriend Tyler for last Valentine’s Day:) Having fun with a comic/anime-esque style! P.S. He goes by Bonsen around this house. We both do.

Fun in Photoshop! I can finally add details over a watercolor wash! Woohoo! Something I’ve wanted to experiment with for a long time. I finally bit the financial bullet and invested in Photoshop (after finally investing in a decent working computer with the ability to handle PS…). Let the Arts Experimentation continue!

I’m working on an “Up North Baby” series where I put adorable tots in adorable nature situations, see above. I hope to approach baby shops with the prints when I have a few finished, printed, and matted/framed! Another exciting artist learning opportunity/avenue (there are so many. SO MANY. This profession is like the hydra – learn/do one thing, discover ten more things to learn/do. Sometimes it’s exhausting. Generally it’s awesome.)
